Thai Feast Nights at Limes

Eleven Thai tasting dishes with wines to match each course
£55 per person

Our Head Chef, Patcharee, has put together another wonderful tasting menu consisting of no less than eleven separate dishes from her home country of Thailand and featuring the best of local seasonal produce and game. Each course will be accompanied by wines specially selected by our friends at Southdowns Cellars.

The theme of September’s menu will be Isaan cuisine, the style of North East Thailand from where our Head Chef, Patcharee, originates.

Known for its bold and fiery flavours, Isaan cuisine is heavily influenced by the food of Laos and Cambodia; the inclusion of a diverse range of ingredients and techniques sets it apart from other Thai culinary styles. Isaan cuisine showcases the use of fresh herbs and vegetables, such as mint, coriander and various types of basil, which contribute to the overall freshness of the dishes. Despite its fiery reputation, Isaan food is celebrated for its balance of flavours and the skilful use of ingredients that captures the essence of North-eastern Thailand's culinary heritage.

Please note, this event is is not suitable for vegans / vegetarians; our regular Vegan feast nights will continue to run on the second Wednesday of alternate months.

Proceedings commence at 7 o'clock with a selection of appetisers being served on arrival followed by the starter dishes at 7.30, Please be punctual as there is only one sitting.
